24. – 27. 04. 2024. Transformation of Europe in the Third Millennium BC, Budapest, Hungary

At the international scientific conference Transformation of Europe in the Third Millennium BC, held from April 24th to 27th at the Institute of Archaeology in Budapest, the first dissemination within the project took place. A presentation co-authored by Jacqueline Balen and Ina Miloglav titled Late Copper/Early Bronze Age in the Area between the Sava, Drava, and Danube Rivers – New Results was held within the 3rd thematic session In and around the Carpathian Basin at the End of Fourth and in the First Half of the Third Millennium BC.

16. – 17. 05. 2024. Belgrade Conference on Archaeological Pottery, Serbia

On May 16th and 17th, 2024, the BECAP conference (Belgrade Conference on Archaeological Pottery) was held at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, with the theme “Pots and Society: Relationships, identities, and prestige/status,” where we presented the results of our work on the project with the lecture titled Pottery use, value, and social significance: Decorated bowls of the Late Copper Age Eastern Croatia (authors: Ina Miloglav and Jasna Vuković). 28. – 31. 08. 2024. – 30th EAA Annual Meeting, Rome, Italy

At the international scientific conference 30th EAA Annual Meeting, held from August 28 to 31, 2004, in Rome, we presented the results of our work on the project by presenting a poster titled Cooking over fire: Intended and actual function of third-millennium cooking pots, Eastern Croatia. The authors of the poster are: Ina Miloglav, Jasna Vuković, Jacqueline Balen, and Miroslav Vuković.

07. – 11. 10. 2024. Annual meeting of the Croatian Archaeological Society, Korčula

At the annual meeting of the Croatian Archaeological Society, which took place from October 7 to 11, 2024, on the island of Korčula, we presented to our colleagues the project Culinary practices, husbandry, and land-use strategies during the Copper Age in Eastern Slavonia.
