Jasna Vuković (PhD) is an Associate Professor at the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Her research interests include pottery studies – especially use-alteration analysis, Neolithic and Eneolithic archaeology, archaeotechnology, and history of archaeology. She has authored and co-authored more than 50 papers and individual book chapters, edited and co-edited several volumes, authored the book Pottery studies: Theory and methodology in ceramics analyses in archaeology (2018), and co-authored The Roots of European Civilisation-Lepenski Vir, Starčevo, and Vinča (2023). She was editor-in-chief of Archaica, the journal of the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Philosophy, serves as a member of the editorial board of Studia Praehistorica (Sofia, Bulgaria), and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Scientific Conference Methodology and Archaeometry (MetArh) (Zagreb, Croatia). She is a co-organizer of the Belgrade Conference on Archaeological Pottery (BECAP), a biennial international meeting on pottery studies.
